It was a clear night, except for one thing..it was raining. Anyone who knew Rosalie or saw her would think she would never be out in this wet weather. Her Emmett was away hunting with his brothers, and she just wanted some quiet solitude that was the night air. On this night, Rose didn't really hate the rain. It was a cool rain, and being as her marble skin was cold, it didn't bother her either. She had on some snug fitting jeans, boots and a nice designer sweater but also she had grabbed one of her husband's hoodies to put over her sweater for the rain. Her long wavey pale blond hair was hidden under the hood and any one if she came across wouldn't be able to tell much about her appearance.
Usually, Rose wanted to get noticed, but tonight she was in a weird mood she couldn't explain. She realized sometimes she got in these moods when she was away from Emmett for any length of time. She was getting a little thirsty and thought maybe she may run across a coyote or something. She didn't usually go hunting on her own, but on this misty rain filled night, she was enjoying the solitude. She just hoped she didn't run into any trouble for now. She came upon a log that was in front of a pond and sat down on it to just think about how life had come to be this way. If Rose had her way, she would still be immortal, but cruel fate had changed things for her that horrible night long ago..but one thing wonderful had come out of it.. she had gotten her monkey man with the dimples. She had also learned to love her new family the Cullens and now would do anything to protect any of them. She didn't like interlopers coming into their fold. And she hoped Carlisle would not extend their family any more. She and Alice really had becom like sisters over the years. She had come to think of Alice as her younger sister, and they didn't always get along either. Sometimes she had to admit, she was a little jealous of Alice's gifts of forsight. But it also made it hard for Rose to hide many feeling from their brother Edward, who could read mind. That annoyed her at times, well more of the time.
Rosalie sighed. Well at least it's a quiet night and there haven't been any carnivourous vampires around lately. She thought to herself as she looked around for any wild animal that might show up. She smelled something and her mind went on alert just in case...
