- Shadow is tall and slender, with the female hour glass tinge of curves. And wild brown locks hanging to the middle of her back. With skinny arms and a waist to match. She's usually wears jeans and tee shirts. Though her dad enjoyed teasing her by saying that one-day she wouldn't be able to walk, he was funny that way. Not too long ago approached a deep beauty to her. Meaning she filled out months ago, being a late bloomer. Her baby soft skin finally got a faint burned peach tone and glow, after summers of failed attempts and lobster burned skin it must of worked and the pasty coloring it took on in the winter will be no more. Long ebony lashes rest on her broad and high set cheekbones. When Shadow is confused or angered her long and thin dark brows furrow downward, but with every other emotion they stay the same thingyy height above her deep brown optics, that were maybe 3 shades different than the pupil itself, but in some lighting the color seems gold tinted. Her lips are just to plump pink lines that form together and push out when stuck in a runt of emotion. A light amount of dimples pop out into view when she smiles and her lips expand into long tight lines that when you follow the corners upward lead you to very round, button like nose. Some have called it cute, Shadow favors her toe and finger nails the most, basically because they're so easy to take care of and naturally glossy. Shadow's voice is usually a deep and wise sound, which fills the gut with bursts of warmth. It's odd how that is. Of course there’s a hem of western draw to it, only because of the fact she had spent her whole life in a town the size of a small Wal-Mart; and even more so because of it being in Missouri. Favored footwear with her is thrift store brand cowboy boots, a worn in graying black.
Now that is her as a human, here is what you'll see other wise. The colors of Shadow's pelt are amazing. A dazzling ivory bleached in honey with an adorable chocolate button nose, strong limbs and scrawny set paws. Don't forget the bushy tail. There is an odd feminine arch to her back and figure, though. There is sadly no difference in her eyes, beside the size. Nothing has changed there. They are the same deep and eye-catching balls on her as before. Some flecks of silver colored fur lay on her spine, mixing with some fiery chestnut specks. Her claws are long and black, and the skin in and around her month is black. Shadow's pearly whites are very long and pointy, though normal for a shape shifter.

- Shadow is a very straight forward person. Her sense of style is the 'I don't care' and 'Is it clean?' mixture and she doesn't attract too much attention with it by it's self. By that I mean the most glances she would get from the style itself would be horny country boys. But she does get a lot of glances from guys and girls alike just because of that raw beauty she is very unaware of. She is a very judging, and this has been intensified with the wreck and transformation. Even before everything as well she was one who only rarely gets pushed over. She dislikes people or really being around them now, but puts her hatred aside to survive at times. She is happy, or acts that a way when around her friends and serious when it comes to her work. Kee is an exception, she feels fond of the old woman, whose hair is deep silver and whose pale crimson skin is beginning to sag. Shadow is known as strong, but she really is weak and breakable on the inside. The things she really doesn't trust, like her future and temper scare her. She is known to never back down from a good fight and is completely loyal to those she loves. She is also known to be ruthless and kind of a blunt, when it calls for just that. She is not scared of running or either fighting. Pain is a deep cover to her core traits right now, making her look depressed when she's not acting happy. Right now, as she is confused and in mourning tinged with a heavy coat of newly unstable shape shifter anger, she can be dangerous. Though Shadow can be tough she is mostly a softie, it just takes some time to get to know her first. Shadow is fragile on the inside because of her being so soft; maybe that's why she is so roughish like.–

The rest of her family is a gone, as they all died before her birth.
- Well let's get this out there, Shadow is for a fact related to the Quileutes. Who exactly is unknown? It's not anything close; maybe back to the beginning of it all. It's so far down the line it wasn't going to affect her . . . Or so she thought. It was maybe back when she was about 13 years old when Shadow found out, about the whole 'Indian legends'. Her parents threw her a camping trip for that years’ birthday party, it was the second night into the 7-day trip when she heard the legends. Of course Shadow was aware of the whole Native American thing, but not the stories. Her father told his small family of two about the Quileute's and the spirit warriors and spirit wolves. Shadow was amazed by the magic and faintly smug, back then she was 13 and young, weeks ago she had all but forgotten the impossible tall tales she concluded as fake. Until just 3 days ago her family and her were on their way to Canada for a camping trip, something they had done often. It was a road trip and they were passing threw Washington when all of a sudden the horse trailer which they carried their belongings in, unhitched itself with a bump in the road and the sudden loss of weight caused a speed boast on the slick road. Shadow's father lost control of the large Ford, and it spun out of control into the deep and dangerous forests of Washington, that's when she blacked out, hitting her head against the dash board in the middle of the truck. When Shadow awoke maybe an hour later, she found her herself laying in the cold, snow. As her eyes fluttered open she saw her father a few inches away, his features mangled in cuts, burns, and blood. He coughed something about her mother dying on impact and that was all he could explain before just slipping away. Frantically the banged up but very much alive Shadow shook her deceased father for a moment and begun to cry. Finally she moved to the rectangular scrap of metal, which contained her mother’s corpse. She realized her father had saved her, how she still doesn't know, probably by dragging them out. Then all at once she began to burn and her stomach churned, she felt red hot and green with the sudden sickness. Then it all came up from her center out of her mouth, she must have puked for hours, until it stopped and the fever was the only thing raging. Shadow became mad, not just mad furious as she stared at the cold snow covering corpse and hunk of metal. Then she was shaking and hard, a taste of something red-hot weighed in her mouth. A fire licked her from her head to her toes and she screamed. As she started to run it happened she burst and instead of exploding into air she turned into a beast, a dog. Then Shadow could run, she was hurting and so angry. Anger was more dominant; she let it slip as she ran and ran, tears shed for a moment and she didn't stop. She felt like she almost couldn't. But by the time she was in Canada by a few hundred miles, she realized she had to stop, when she did an urge emerged. It pleaded to go back, it was irresistible, a pull towards something safe and meaning. And of course she did, how could she ignore it and keep going away. After miles and hours of traveling she entered the outskirts of rainy Forks. The airs were thick of a bleach-covered sweetness, which triggered a reaction that told her to rip, tear, slash, and destroy. It also stung and burned, to a point that made her hurt, naturally she ran away from it, managing to move were a scent like hers existed. For the last day she has been stalking it, and wondering rather to leave it or not, a pull of some sort told her to wait for it to come and find her. So Shadow has. From the moment she entered the wolf body she had been hearing voices, or really one voice. She's also been ignoring it the best way possible; mainly just howling and barking do the trick. With a fear of death by the cold Shadow finally caves in and shifts back. Though to her surprise she isn't cold, her skin is burning warm, carefully and sleuth fully she wonders into La Push. An old woman named Kee spots the young naked Shadow and flags her down placing a blanket over her bare shoulders realizing the heat radiating off of Shadow. After a few moments of talking Shadow's story (minus the wolf ness) is known. They're both in tears and somehow Shadow was in the kind old woman's arms. At the end of the day Shadow had found a place to stay and an old woman to watch out for her, which leaves us today, Kee heard somewhere that Sam Ully had a group of troubled teens and he was quite a good influence.
She wants to get a hold of him and see if he could help her, but isn’t sure how Shadow would react. As for schooling Shadow is told that if she doesn’t go next semester she would no longer be able to stay with Kee, this is dangerous. She is trying to spend a lot of time out of the house and is nervous she will hurt someone; Kee is unaware of the truth of the legends and is worried about harboring a rebel.
Before the last few days Shadow had a small group of about 3 friends, all very bad, they smoked and partied. So did Shadow but not as heavily. And before that she wasn't even bad, she just hung with her parents until she turned 14 and went into high school. And anything before that comes up a blank, maybe because of how bland her life was. –

It’s time to prove your value
-A deep burn hit Shadow's throat, she tried to suck in some sort of scent to why, but soon realized it was a new apporching company. When was the last time she had hunted? That thought occured too, only she didn't think it, more really felt it. She defiantly needed too, was the response of her stomach with a gurgle and rumble. Ever since Shadow had transformed it was like each part of her had a mind of it's own, and talked amoungest each other as well. An acknowledging grin spread across her ivory maw. Gently she pressed her paw pads into the hard and snow covered ground, leaving somewhat massive indents with step, also letting out a sober crunch with each movement as well. For some reason her spikes were crinkling in the snowy winds, then all at once the scent that had bothered her what could of been hours ago reapeared thick and somewhat dangerous. It was a musky feline scent covered in a bleachy sweetness that was just too much. A slight growl slipt threw Shadow's already beared pearl daggers. The ebony skin on her lips was tight and tense, matching her protective stance. Her nostrils should have been bleeding, water prickled down her soft cheek fur. And with that two heavy snow macthing paws came up and held her snout for a moment, then she soon fell backwards. With the massive thud of her fall she looked around, the world was different in these eyes. For instance every single image that entered her head triggered a scent which triggered a sense that triggered a reaction. All she saw was the thick amount of pine trees surrounding and the icing looking substance that heavily covered them; it reminded Shadow of a snowglobe with the endless snowflakes still dancing around and even on her. Something shifted though and she was off of her back, and standing in a low stalking crouch surveying the small gaps of space around her. It smelled still horrid but not as bad, the company from eariler was nearer and posted more as a threat. With that a huge tan blurr emerged and was heading straight at her in midjumptexture. There was only one close enough to what would make the dreadful burning in the back of my throat want me to re-kill myself or fight to keep everything all right.Fire danced up higher in my throat making that urge more known. A rasp bark flew from her throat with the flames of anger. She should be breathing fire by now. Shadow's horridly sharp teeth clamped towards the beast as she backed off a few feet. Every sense took over as Shadow was staring at a tawny pelted lioness. How many miles had she allowed herself to travel? That didn't matter. She begun to stalk the stalker, with caution and sleuth. Her emerald optics had turned a bright marble blue as she targeted the beast with a hunger that was encouraged by the painful fire threatening her knowledge of who she was suppose to be. The movement of her chest had been paused; it was a short one. In her head she felt the neeed to become invisible and at the moment the thought of hiding was horrid. It wasn't necessary or desired right now. This was a skilled hunter as herself, only numerous times duller, but at least ninety-four more times intelligent than humans;well at least with this. The never resting mind Shadow possessed considered how to slaughter the creature. By the time 5 seconds had passed she had over 30 ways it could be done. The scent was musky and healthy yet threatening and dangerous. She didn't have any self-power left to ponder on this. The statue of frozen snow fur melted into a lunge. As it attempted to protect itself, the short dance had begun. The creature’s claws and teeth sunk momentarily into her pelt, in response blood began to stain the white earth for only seconds, and the creature that was Shadow winced. She already tired of playing games. The beastie was no longer entertaining. A fierce rumble rippled threw the flames of anger engrossed already in her throat. Shadow's sharper than razor fangs bared in a way that made the lioness’s feline orbs seize in fear and danger. It cried a hiss trying to fake Shadow out. No use, she could've laughed. But instead slashed at the pale sand fur on the face of the creature that had found it's way on top of Shadow. More ruby red droplets flung onto her blood staining neck. Growls of all shapes were flowing from Shadow's maw. The lioness cried out in pain this time around. Soon Shadow flipped the creature and pounded it devastatingly hard into the ground, blood sparing onto her forepaws. That's enough of that. Quickly, she ended the beast with a quick snap of the neck in her jaws. The lioness screamed momentarily until cut off by a drowning type of gurgle with the snap. Shadow pulled her maw away from the carcass of her victor. She wiped her blood-reddened nose against the icy snow. Shadow was much more calm and sober. Her optics returned to emerald and she grimmly realized her loss of humanity, it didn't bother her right now. She followed her gut and slowly began to feast. -
